FM158 Holdings is a family office focused on investing in private companies including but not limited to business services, music royalties, healthcare, manufacturing, industrials, utility services, and energy. We partner with successful owner-led businesses seeking a pathway for growth or exiting the business.
We look to identify opportunities where we can add value to an established business by leveraging collective experience, industry relationships and strategic insights.
Our current partnerships include other family offices, specialized financial institutions, and seasoned entrepreneurs with extensive experience owning, managing, and operating successful private companies across the lower middle market.
Who We Are
Judson Sturdivant - Managing Partner
Judson Sturdivant has over 15 years of experience investing in equity to debt of public and private companies. Mr. Sturdivant currently serves as the Managing Partner of FM158 Holdings, a Dallas based family office focused on private equity platform investments. As an owner operator, he has held the role of CEO for a cabinet company that manufactures and installs cabinets to over thirty states within the United States as well as Chairman and CEO of multiple healthcare service companies throughout Texas. Prior to FM158, Mr. Sturdivant was Director of Corporate Development at a large public company, where he was influential in the closing and integration of several transformative deals. Formerly, he was the Senior Analyst at a Dallas based hedge fund, a Principal of a New York City investment fund and held other various investment roles.
Mr. Sturdivant is an active member in multiple professional groups throughout Dallas, including Calyx, and TexasExes. He is a founding board member of The Hoover Institute's Next Generation Advisory Committee and serves on George Bush’s 43 Club Advisory Committee. Philanthropically, Judson serves on the board of Folds of Honor North Texas chapter, and has a financial literacy class for the underprivileged youth throughout DFW. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in economics.
